The service is nice, the pool is excellent and the rooms are spacious. The food is excellent too. I would say this is a good 4 star hotel but as it claims to be a 5 star I can only give a 4 star rating, as it does not has the same 5 star standard than other hotels in that region. There is for instance no real good night service, they close the curtain and that’s it’s but usually in other 5 star hotels they put a little chocolate, they tidy up the room and they redo the bed as well. Also the shower has some mould and the furnishing and equipment in the gym are a bit outdated.

The only Place where we extended our Stay within 30min after Arrival Placed in between the largest Organic-Fig-Plantation within Europe this Suite Only Resort Met Every Single Need but what led to this additional Booking was the Level of Hospitality and Service within the whole Crew. I have Never experienced that Level of Excellence and friendliness before. Not on a Servant-like Basis More at an eye-Level which is way harder to find IMO. Of course the Food is fantastic, the Wine-List is well curated and the Beds&Mattrasses are terrific. The whole Place is definetely 5Stars but in a humble way. One of the few Hotels which are way more beautiful in real Life than on Pictures. Visited 06/23

My recent stay at Furnirussi was nothing short of extraordinary. This place is a hidden gem that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beauty of the fig plantation and the charming architecture. The accommodations were luxurious, blending rustic charm with modern comforts. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. The restaurant served truly delicious farm fresh food. Free breakfast was wonderful - and I’m not sure why other reviewers are complaining about the lack of hot breakfast, because you can order hot breakfast items like eggs, toast and bacon for free, you just need to ask the staff and they are really happy to help. The meal prices were high for this area of Puglia, even compared to other 5 stars we had been staying in. The pool area was quite disappointing honestly, the sun loungers are so dated and tired, the pool water was covered in bugs, leaves, and pollen from the surrounding trees. Despite being cleaned daily, this just never improved enough to not end up covered in ‘bits’ every time we went for a swim. I ended up trying to scoop out leaves myself so I could enjoy a swim. There is very little atmosphere and the hotel was very quiet. Quiet is nice for the peace, but it can also feel a bit like faulty towers. I’m quite shocked this hotel is categorised as a 5 star, it would be 4 stars at best from my perspective. The reception area and restaurant area are dated and tired, the grounds in terms of a nature immersion are fantastic. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, kind and friendly and really made the experience for us. The location surrounding this hotel is quite derelict, and we weren’t so interested in the neighbouring towns when compared with the north of Puglia. If you want to explore the south of Puglia, or just relax, this place is ‘okay’ but I wouldn’t stay again. Free, easy, safe parking on site was fab. For a fig farm, figs didn’t feature enough! Such a missed opportunity. With some minor changes like updated furniture, a clean pool, and some more effort in generating some atmosphere - this place has stacks of potential to be great.

Such a wonderful place! One of the really few authentic 5stars place in the province and Area. Better in the weekdays rather than weekend where could be hard to find the right relax. We have been with 4 friends of ours the all day and has been incredible: the service really kind and always with that kind of "yes Sir" aptitude throughout the staying, which means a lot. Food creative, delicious but also as km0. Fantastic pool! If I could I'd give them 6stars!!
